EPEC is a free poker tournament open to new & beginner European poker players. It’s your chance to learn the rules of the game and meet other poker enthusiasts while also experiencing the excitement of a live poker tournament.
We’re qualifying over 200 new players through both live and online events and sending them on a three-day poker holiday in one of Southern Europe’s most beautiful destinations.
From November 2008 to February 2009, live EPEC events will take place throughout Europe. Registration and participation in these events are free. It is an excellent way to experience poker while meeting other new players.
Qualified participants of all EPEC events will receive a €1,100 prize package guaranteeing them a seat at the Everest Poker European Cup Finale. The €1,100 prize package includes the €500 tournament buy-in, three nights’ hotel accommodation worth €300 and an additional €300 (U.S. $450), to cover travel expenses.
Not only will you be playing at the two-day EPEC Finale in May 2009, you will also be competing for your share of a €100,000 prize pool!
If you do not live in a country where a live event is taking place, do not despair. Other European residents can qualify online for the EPEC Finale between February and April 2009.

How can I register for live events?
To get started, open an account at Everest Poker. Downloading our software is free and registration only takes a few minutes
- Go to Special in Scheduled Tournaments
- Select the EPEC tournament scheduled in your country by searching under the specified date in the Time section.
- Complete the registration details. You will receive an email confirmation regarding your event registration.
To participate in a live qualifying event, you must be a resident of the country where the live event is taking place. 11 countries will have live qualification, but there will be other country-specific online qualification tournaments. 29 European countries are eligible for participation in EPEC.
Participation in the Everest Poker European Cup is limited to new players.*
* The online registration tournament process for live events is only visible to new players who have opened an account less than 90 days prior to the registration date for the live event. Everest Poker reserves the right to refuse registration to those who do not meet the participation requirements or who do not accept the terms and conditions of Everest Poker. Players participating in the live EPEC events must be eligible to travel in Europe to attend the EPEC Finale on May 8, 9 and 10.
